Your goal in the middle.Every explainer around it.
CoVince puts one goal in the middle and everything a team needs around it, in six parts. Every explainer sits in one of them: the real screens, step by step, with a link that opens the thing itself.
The six parts
Six parts. The same six in every journey; what is in them changes.
What do you want to get done?
- Run a journey with my team - One place for the work, the people, the meetings and who does what.
- Teach people something - A learning with questions, practice conversations and a game.
- Sell my trainings - Set up your organisation, make the training, put it in your shop and tell people.
- Hold events and webinars - Plan it, let people sign up, go live and share the recording.
- Make content: record, film, write - Documents, boards, recordings and films - made together.
- Reach people outside - Your website, pages, mailings and social posts.
- Let AI do the busywork - A helper that knows your work, notes and reports that write themselves, steps that run by themselves.
- Set up my organisation - Your organisation, your people, your website and your own account.
Your goal
One goal in the middle. In CoVince it lives in a journey, and everything else sits on it.
- Make a journey - The middle of everything: one journey for one goal. Make it, give it a picture, and see where everything else will sit. (4 min)
Content
Everything you make: documents, boards, films.
- Write a document - A text, a sheet or slides, made inside the journey so everyone in it can find it. (6 min)
- Use the whiteboard - An endless board for notes, pictures and plans that the whole journey works on together. (6 min)
- Put files in a journey, and share them - Upload files or a folder, make folders, and share one with people, the journey or anyone - a folder of pictures even as a gallery. (5 min)
- Make and use a sheet - A spreadsheet in your journey: make it, type numbers and formulas, see totals, download it as Excel or PDF. (5 min)
- Make and change a media story - A short film, shot by shot: spoken text and a picture each. Let the wizard write the first version, then change anything. (7 min)
- Cut a video - CoVince writes out what is said, cuts the best pieces, adds captions and saves the cut next to your video. (6 min)
- Record a production - Answer six short questions, press the red button, and every microphone and camera is saved on its own. Add a guest with a link, then search what was said. (8 min)
- Do more on the whiteboard - Mindmaps, actions with an owner, a countdown, a live web page, sections, sharing and going back in time - the whiteboard beyond the basics. (8 min)
- Make your presentation beautiful - Pick a design, tidy a messy slide, or let your CrewMate design it better - you always see it first, and you can always undo it. (7 min)
Community
Everyone who takes part, and how you talk to them.
- Add people - Invite colleagues to your organisation or to one journey: by mail address, many at once, and with the right role. (5 min)
- Post and chat in a journey - Write in the journey chat, call someone with @, react, reply - or chat with one person. (4 min)
- Have a video call - Start a video call in your journey, invite the people of the journey, and switch camera and microphone on when you are ready. (5 min)
- A video meeting with people outside your organisation - Plan an open video meeting, send the link, and let your guest in from the waiting room - no account needed, also on a phone. (6 min)
- Let CoVince take the notes - Record a video call or a meeting in a room; CoVince writes out what was said and makes a short report with decisions and to-dos. (5 min)
Coordination
Everything that has to happen: meetings, tasks, time.
- Plan a meeting - Pick the people, let CoVince find a time everybody is free, and send the invitation - with the video call already in it. (5 min)
- Actions: who does what, and when - Make an action in one line, give it a person and a date, and follow it on the action board - the late ones in red. (5 min)
- Write down your hours - Type your hours per job and per day in a week grid - it saves itself, adds itself up and exports to Excel or PDF. (4 min)
- Follow a workflow - Start a workflow in your journey and let CoVince remember every step, who did it and what comes next. (6 min)
- Let people book a time with you - Make one page with your free hours, share the link, and people book a time themselves. (6 min)
- Pick a date together - Propose a few days, everybody ticks what suits them, and you pick the winner. (6 min)
- Make a Control Room by describing it - Paste a briefing, check the proposal, say where the numbers come from and who owns them - then CoVince builds the whole board. (6 min)
- Ask several parties for the same information - Write the questions once; each party fills in its own column through a link, no account needed. You follow the status, remind who is open and export everything. (14 min)
- Build a workflow - Put the steps of a job in order, once. Then everyone follows the same steps, and CoVince reminds them. (9 min)
- Workflows with people outside your journey - Invite a new colleague, a supplier or a prospect to do their steps with a personal link - fill in, learn, sign - while you follow every step. Four worked examples. (12 min)
- Control Room: everything it can do - Over thirty tile types, free layout, pages, a wall and a phone - and a map of where numbers come from: typed, KPI, file, web service, live data, the journey. (20 min)
- Organise an event - Put an event on the agenda. People sign up. They get a reminder. You see who is coming. (8 min)
- Hardware for a room with screens - Screens, computer, graphics cards and software for an immersive room with 3 or 9 portrait screens. (4 min)
Competence
Everything the team must know: learnings, courses.
- Make a learning - A short lesson people swipe through on a phone: where it belongs, the first slide, all seventeen kinds of slide, the questions, and how to play it back. (9 min)
- Ask people a question - Make a short survey, share the link and see every answer counted up - or let people vote on a decision. (6 min)
- Practise a conversation with an avatar - Add an Avatar Chat slide: your reader practises a real conversation, like a first intake, with an avatar that talks and listens, and gets feedback on your goal at the end. (7 min)
- Make an avatar training conversation and choose your avatar - Set up a practice conversation with a talking avatar, choose the face and voice, and see every avatar you can pick - with the new ones marked. (9 min)
- A story that ends in a choice - Tell a short story, then ask: what do you do? Each answer goes to its own slide and can give points; the Branch view shows every path. (6 min)
- Make a menu slide - A menu inside your learning: one card per group, progress bars and rings, locks and a Leaderboard button. (5 min)
- Add a game to your learning - Thirteen games from your own questions: pick one, set time and look, type six items, test-play it, add challenge mode and a leaderboard. (7 min)
- Import a Moodle course - Turn a Moodle course backup into a learning: make the .mbz in Moodle, import it into a journey's flow, check the groups and slides, fix what did not come across, and share it. (10 min)
- Play SCORM packages in a journey - Upload the .zip of a course, try it, and let the Start button of a journey open it. See who finished it, and send the results on if you want. (10 min)
Communication
Everything that leaves the building: mail, posts, pages.
- Your mailbox in CoVince - Connect Gmail, Office 365 or any mailbox once, then read and write your mail right next to your journeys. (5 min)
- Send a mailing - One personal mail to a whole list: journey members, a sheet, a file or typed addresses, each with their own name. (6 min)
- Plan social posts - A month of posts in one afternoon: pick your days once, let a CrewMate write the drafts, read them and they go out on time. (6 min)
- Make a landing page - Talk through the page while you show your screen; the page gets built, you check it and publish it. (7 min)
- Add a page to your website menu - Make a page for your organisation's website, set it Live, and pick it from the list in the menu at the top - on every page at once. (6 min)
- Host a webinar - Plan it on the agenda. Get ready in the studio. Go live. Afterwards, people watch it back on the same link. (9 min)
- Sell your trainings - Put a training in your shop with a name, a price and a list of what is in it. Buyers pay, and the training opens for them. (7 min)
- Make your own paid podcast or video channel - Publish episodes in a journey, put a channel page in front of them and let listeners subscribe. CoVince collects, invoices for you and pays you out. (12 min)
- Run a training for OASIS Academy - Make a training in the agenda, price it in the shop, build the detail page once, link it, and let people register or join the waitlist. (30 min)
CrewMates
Helpers that know your work.
- How to use a CrewMate - Your own helper in CoVince: set it up in four short screens, then ask it things in plain words. (6 min)
- Get a report of your work - Talk, and CoVince writes the report: a summary and the actions, ready to tick off, hand out, export or translate. (6 min)
- Make a report template for voice notes - Say once what a report must have: a summary, the decisions, who does what. Every recording of that meeting gets the same report. (7 min)
Set up once
Outside any journey: your calendar, your account.
- Start your organisation - Make your organisation while you make your first journey, then fill it in: name, logo and colours, people and teams, your own web address. (8 min)
- Your profile and settings - Your name and photo, the line under your name, your language, light or dark, and when CoVince may ring. (5 min)
- Connect your calendar - Show your Google or Outlook appointments in CoVince, so a meeting is never planned on top of one. (4 min)
- Connect your LMS with LTI - Let people click a link in your learning system and land in the right CoVince journey, already signed in. Register your LMS, map products to journeys, hand over the details and send grades back. (8 min)
